In attempting to set up my file server on my Centris 610, I kept getting a stupid sad mac with the wierd little sound that it makes. I thought "oh god, not the mother board", which would have cost more than the machine. Well, I went to another machine and checked a program called "System Error's 7.01" by Pete Corless of Apple to see if there was an explaination. Unfortunately this great program did not have the info that I needed. So I looked and found a neet little program called MacCheck. I looked inside and found a list of error codes for a "Sad Mac". I found out that it was only corrupted software (whew!). Anyway, I attempted to print out this neet little list. But unfortunately, there is no way to do it. So, what I did was copied all the info out and typed it in here so that everyone has access to it. I hope that it is useful. In addition , I have added a few other pointers that may help.
